Timothy L Neary Jr.

Coal Township – Timothy L. Neary, Jr., 62, of 1028 W Montgomery Street, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville due to COVID related complications.

Born in Shamokin on September 22, 1959, to Timothy L. and Pegge (Houser) Neary, Sr. He served in the United States Army. He worked as an electrician at National Beef.

He married Cathy Scholl in 2008, who preceded him in death.

Timothy is survived by his mother, Pegge Neary; a sister Susanne Heisler and her husband, Kent; a sister, Shane Williard; and nephews Phillip Kline, his wife Kelani and their daughter, Gwendlyn, and Kyle Brosh. He is also survived by his loving companion, Roxann Bashore and his surrogate grandchildren Makendyn, Karslyn, Riley, and Karli. He will be missed by his faithful animals Nanook, Merlin, and Finnegan. Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Neary Sr.

Timothy L. Neary Jr – Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 6:00– 8:00 PM at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Interment will be held at a later date for family members only.
