Coal Township – Thomas L “Tom” Heitzman, 50, of 1524 W Mulberry Street, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Coal Township on March 4, 1970 he was the son of the late Donald and Mae (Parkyn) Heitzman. He graduated from Shamokin High School.
On October 31, 2016 in Shamokin, he married Terry Mumma, who survives. Thomas worked as a computer technician and web developer for Susquehanna Computer Innovations, Inc. He was a member of the United Church of Christ.
Tom had a passion for technology, Star Trek, and dogs.
Thomas is survived by his husband, Terry Mumma; his dogs, Sunshine, and Jackson; two brothers, Donald Heitzman and his wife, Debbie, and Tim Heitzman. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy; Grandmother, Mae Parkyn; and his dogs, Rosie and Bijoux.

Heitzman, 50, of 1524 W Mulberry Street, Coal Township – Graveside Service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:00 am with Reverend Mary Schmotzer, officiating at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
