Sarah P. (Berry) Jeremiah

Lewisburg – Sarah P. Jeremiah, 89, of Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2023.

Born in Kulpmont on April 21, 1934 she was the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Long) Berry. She graduated in 1952 from Kulpmont High School.

She was married in Shamokin on August 6, 1966 to George Jeremiah who preceded her in death on April 17, 2011. She worked for many years at Buffalo Valley Nursing Home, where she did many jobs there from Laundry to a Nurses Aid. She was of protestant faith. She loved to play bingo.

Sarah is survived by a son, Keith Jeremiah of Turbotville; three grandsons, Bryan Jeremiah of Turbotville, Tyler Jeremiah of Montoursville, and Kyle Jeremiah and his wife, Eve of TN; two granddaughters, Jennifer Bartlett and her husband, James, and Faith Neidig; and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Sarah was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Neidig and Richard Neidig; and several brothers and sisters.

Sarah P. Jeremiah, 89, of Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village – Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 at 11:00 am with Reverend Joan Brown, officiating, at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Pennsylvania, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
