Rosemary Ann (Splitt) Orner

Coal Township – RoseMary Ann Orner, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Mountain View Manor and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

She was born in Shamokin, a daughter of the late Catherine and Anthony Splitt. She had a half-brother, Billy Splitt.

RoseMary was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School.

She was employed at different factories over her lifetime, most of them were sewing factories, except for Paper Magic.

RoseMary enjoyed bus trips anywhere, especially to Atlantic City. She loved to attend local block parties and fire company events. She also loved going to Knoebels. She had a love for music, country music was her favorite.

RoseMary is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Orner of Shamokin, and Debroah Orner of Ephrata; and a grandson, Christopher Orner of Shamokin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, who passed on July 6th, 1979.
