On April 18, 1959, in Munich, Germany, he married Ilse Selma Adam, who survives.

Ronald was a supervisor for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, where he retired after 27 years of service. Ronald maintained a working farm, which he started at the age of 21. At that time was a dairy farmer, raised beef cattle and pigs, and produced all the crops necessary to support the animals and farmer's market.

He also enjoyed solving cryptoquotes, crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper comics, playing Poker on the internet and Black Jack in the Casino. He enjoyed a good steak and home cooked meals from his wife, Ilse, the most.

Ron was a good man but a private person, always working very hard to provide a secure life for his wife and daughters. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren, supporting them with continued education and their love of Equine competition.

His family could always count on him for help whatever the need. We will miss him immensely.
