COAL TOWNSHIP – Patricia A. Nolter, 82, of 1735 Pulaski Ave, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Shamokin on March 17, 1940 she was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Rickert) Hand. She attended Shamokin High School.
Patricia married her first husband, the late Wesley Griffiths in Shamokin, later she married Andrew Nolter, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Norristown State Hospital and Mountain View Manor.
Patricia is survived by two sons, Scott Griffiths and his wife, Jessie of Selinsgrove, and Christopher Griffiths of Coal Township; a daughter, Lori Garancosky of Coal Township; three step-daughters, Barbara, Christine, and Donna; daughter-in-law, Debra Roughton of Shamokin; five grandsons, Nicholas Griffiths and his wife, Julissa, Wesley Griffiths and his wife, Tori, Joshua Griffiths and his companion, Stephanie Kreamer, Tyler Griffiths, and Tre Griffiths; four granddaughters, Jennifer Gutekunst, Kristie Garancosky and her fiancé, Justin Savage, Amanda Palmer and her husband, Jeff, and Danielle Finn and her husband, Michael; four great grandsons, Jack Griffiths, Johnny Griffiths, Jordan Griffiths, and Cole Palmer; twelve great granddaughters, Savannah Paris, Kameron Bowers, Izzy Kreamer, Kaelin Bowers, Reese Savage, Audrie Hutnyk, Harper Finn, Kenley Griffiths, Scarlet Griffiths, Haven Finn, Katie Griffiths, and Alexis Palmer; a great great granddaughter, Zoe Paris; a brother, Billy Hand and his wife, Janet of MD; a sister, Dauna Yucha and her husband, Paul of Elysburg; an aunt, Janet Albertini; good friend, Mark Gross of NC; best friends, Barry, Patsy, Sue, Chuchie and Louise; family friend, Colleen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husbands, Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Westley Griffiths; daughter-in-law, Barbara Griffiths; two sisters, Joanne Reeser, and Maureen Nahodil; and a brother, Sonny Hand.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Patricia A. Nolter, 82, of 1735 Pulaski Ave, Coal Township – Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Eby, officiating at Restoration Ministries, Shamokin. Visitation will held from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be held following the service in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Coal Township. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J.
