Patricia Ann (Miller) Albright

COAL TOWNSHIP - Patricia Ann (Miller) Albright, 85, of 1721 Park Ave, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 20, 1935 to the late Reverend Wade and Mrs. Lillian (Peterson) Miller. She graduated from West Morland High School in 1953 and went on to attend Vennard College in University Park, Iowa majoring in music.

Patricia was the loving wife of Dr. Richard C. Albright whom she married on December 23, 1961.  They would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. She retired from the Metropolitan Insurance company after 36 years of service.

She was a loving sister to her brother Richard and late sister Phyllis.  She was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews, as well as her great and great, great nieces and nephews. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. She was a devoted dog Mom and was always talking about missing her Becca, a momma’s girl.   She was a wonderful, caring, compassionate friend.  She had a beautiful voice and was often a guest soloist for weddings and church services and was long-time member of the Sicilian Club. She was a member of the local Choraliers in Shamokin.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Patricia Ann (Miller) Albright, 85, of 1721 Park Ave, Coal Township - A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Mountainside Assembly of God Church, 1900 Trevorton Road, Coal Township with the Reverend Dr. Michael Goodling officiating.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00am at the church.  Graveside committal service will follow at the Odd Fellows cemetery. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Memorial gifts may be made to Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse or the Missionary Society at the 7th Street Primitive Methodist Church, 34 N 7th St, Shamokin, PA 17872.
