Coal Township-Nicholas Leschinskie, 77, of 110 Columbus Circle, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.
He was born in Shamokin on December 4, 1944 to the late John and Anna (Mazur) Leschinskie. He retired from N.S. Troutman & Sons. He graduated from Coal Township High School in 1962.
He married Linda Ponatoski on September 14, 1967 in Maryland. He served in the United States Army in the reserves.
In addition to his wife, Nicholas is survived by a daughter, Brenda Leschinskie of Coal Township; three brother-in-laws, Tim Ponatoski and his wife Debra of Irish Valley, Donald Ponatoski and his wife Suzanne of Kulpmont, and William Ponatoski of Shamokin; niece, Ashley Ponatoski; as well as many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Nicholas was proceeded in death by his father and mother-in-laws, Stanley and Margaret (Templin) Ponatoski; a brother, Joseph Ponatoski; and two sisters, Martha Nairns and Dorothy Kern.
