Nancy L. (Barnes) Harring

Shamokin – Nancy L. Harring, 67, of Lincoln Towers, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Geisinger-Shamokin Community Hospital, Coal Township.

Born in Shamokin on December 17, 1956 to the late Eugene and Hettie (Reed) Barnes. She graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1974. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Nursing Homes in the area.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Kriner of CA: five grandchildren; a sister, Janet Sener; two brothers, John Barnes and his wife, Rosemarie of Coal Township, and her twin, David Barnes and his wife, Donna of Coal Township; a niece, Nancy Sener; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a fiancé, Arthur Kriner; and a sister, Carol Reed.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-Campbell Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, PA, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
