Nancy Jean (Krebs) Adamson

Nancy Jean (Krebs) Adamson, 90, of Paxinos, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Geisinger
Medical Center in Danville.
She was born in Danville on April 11, 1934, to the late George Allen Krebs and Bessie May Kerstetter.
After graduating from Shamokin High School in 1952, she went on to work various jobs, after which
became, and later retired as a floor manager at JCPenney in VA. She married her beloved husband,
James Robbie Adamson Jr., in July of 1958, who preceded her in death and served honorably in the U.S.
Army Air Corps. She attended and was a devoted member of Clarks Grove United Methodist Church,
Irish Valley, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her focus in life was loving and caring for
her family and raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and
cooking for family and friends. She was known for her delicious barbecue, chicken corn soup, vegetable
soup, and filling.
Nancy is survived by 1 son, James Robbie Adamson III and his wife Tina of OH, 2 daughters; Lizabeth
LoMonaco and her husband Thomas, and Kimberly Darling and her husband Michael, both of VA, 1
granddaughter, Erica LoMonaco, 3 grandsons, Kyle LoMonaco and his wife Cameron, Troy Darling,
and Jason Darling, 1 great-granddaughter, Gianna LoMonaco, 1 brother, Lewis Krebs and his wife
Dorothy, 1 sister, Maude Jane Young and her husband George Kenneth, 1 sister-in-law, Joanne Krebs, all
of Paxinos, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by 1 brother, James Krebs.

Nancy J. Adamson, 90, of Paxinos – A graveside service for family will be held Saturday, September
14, at 2:00 PM at Clarks Grove Cemetery, Irish Valley. Services are being cared for by Farrow-Campbell
Funeral Home & Cremation Service: 240 Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Pennsylvania, 17872. In lieu of
