Mildred L. (Persing) Neidig

Muncy – Mildred L. Neidig, 83, of 138 Heatherbrooke Estates, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Shamokin on November 13, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillie (Poff) Persing. She attended Coal Township High School. She worked as a cleaning lady for Shamokin Housing Authority.

Mildred is survived by a daughter, Linda Frye and her husband, Albert of Muncy; son, Michael Neidig and his wife, Karina of Shamokin; two grandsons, Kobe Neidig of Shamokin, Nicolas Neidig of Shamokin; granddaughter, Kiara Neidig of FL; brother, William Persing and his wife, Terry of Shamokin; sister, Betty Bowers of Shamokin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by four brothers; and one sister.

Mildred L. Neidig, 83, of Muncy – Graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury, with her brother, William Persing, officiating.
