Michael Ian Lindermuth Sr

Wyomissing – Michael Ian Lindermuth, 57, of 217 Canal Boat Road, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Reading Hospital with family and a close friend by his side.

Born in Shamokin on March 15, 1966 he was the son of John R. and Bujon (Kim) Lindermuth. He attended public schools in Lebanon. He was a client manager of Allied Universal Security Services in Wyomissing. Previously, he had been director of operations for Security Guards Inc., Wyomissing; PIMS Client Support Specialist with CSIU, held several positions with Northumberland County, including chief county clerk, and also worked as a data systems administrator for PPL.

While living in Shamokin, Michael had attended St. Johns United Church of Christ and became a member of Salem United Church of Christ. He loved music, movies, Civil War and military history, and rooting for the Navy in the Army-Navy games.

In addition to his father, Michael is survived by two sons, Michael Lindermuth of Tharptown, and Ethan Lindermuth of Tharptown; a sister, Nina Weir and her husband, Marc; two nephews, Connor and Duncan Weir; Aunt and Uncle, Fred and Jerry Doering; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michael Ian Lindermuth, 57, of Wyomissing – Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Alicia Julia-Stanley at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, PA, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service.
