Leona Mae (Johnson) Adams Walburn

Excelsior – Leona Mae (Johnson) Adams, Walburn, 79, of 114 Fogel Street, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Sunbury Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Sunbury.

Born in Roseland, NJ on September 20, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Philo and Elizabeth (Hakes) Johnson. She was a member of Mother Cabrini Church, Shamokin.

Leona is survived by two daughters: Linda Katalinas with husband Vincent, Debra Conrad and two sons: James Broscious with wife Angela and Charles Walburn. 14 grandchildren: Alicia, Michael, Eric, Amanda, Natasha, Aiden, James, Nickolie, Korbin, Dakotah, Maranda and Tyler plus 6 great grandchildren: Blake, Charlotte, Lilliana, Isabella, Alaia and Evander. In addition to her husbands and parents, Leona was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Irene Adams; and a son, Malcom Collins Walburn.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Leona Mae (Johnson) Adams Walburn, 79, of Excelsior – Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mother Cabrini Church, Shamokin with Father Friar Timothy Geiger, officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday, July 26, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at Farrow-Campbell Funeral & Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
