King Miller Kaseman

April 24, 1932 — December 21, 2018

Coal Township – King M. Kaseman, 86, of 1900 W. Water Street, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. Surrounded by his family as he went to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior.

Born on April 24, 1932 in Shamokin he was the son of the late Clayton Joseph and Flossie (Miller) Kaseman. He graduated from Coal Township High School in 1950.

On July 11, 1992 in Church of the Nazarene in Lavelle, King married Carole Johns the love of his life. He was employed as an iron worker, he also worked at Brest Packing Company and then he was a bus driver for the Shamokin School District and CSIU. He loved the kids on his bus.  He was a member of Gods Missionary Church in Sunbury. He loved his church, Gospel music, antique cars, playing golf, his dog Marly, and spending time with his wife.

King is survived by his wife Carole Kaseman of Coal Township; two brothers, Mark Kaseman and his wife Virginia of New Cumberland, and David Kaseman and his wife Dianne of Coal Township; two brothers-in-law, Burt Johns of Coal Township, and Melvin Reed of Coal Township; four sisters-in-law, Dawn Hoffman of Paxinos, Beverly Progansky and her husband Robert of Paxinos, Bonnie Hawley and her husband Richard of Schuylkill Haven, and Marlene Kaseman of Coal Township; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents, King was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Kaseman and Norman Kaseman; two sisters, Charlotte Kaseman and Ruth Knarr and her husband Kenneth; one brother-in-law, Robert Hoffman; four sisters-in-law, Esther Johns, Ellen Tharp and her husband Frank, Joyce Reed, and Mildred Reed and her husband Mark.

FUNERAL NOTICE

King M. Kaseman, 86, of 1900 W. Water Street, Coal Township – Funeral service will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bunch, officiating, in Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W. Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Burial will be held in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Viewing will be held from 9:00 -11:00 am in the Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
