Paxinos – It is with great sadness that the family of, Keith W. Madara, announce his passing into the hands of Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the age of 68 at Grandview Nursing & Rehab, Danville.
Born on December 6, 1956 to the late Byron and Mildred (Strausser) Madara, along with his twin brother, Mark J., at the Sunbury Community Hospital.
He graduated from Southern Columbia High School in 1976. Following graduation he attended Johnstown Training Center in Johnstown. He moved to Hanover with his mother and worked at the local McDonalds. After returning to the Shamokin area, he worked at Knoebel’s Amusement Resort and at CSP Bakery in Sunbury. His last place of employment was at Suncom Industries, Northumberland.
The Madara Family wishes to thank all of the many caregivers who worked with Keith through the Keystone Community Outreach. A special Thank You to Dean Wetzel, Jim Lichty, and Kevin his last caseworker.
Keith is survived by three brothers, twin, Mark J. Madara, and his wife, Leisa, of Paxinos David A. Madara of Paxinos, and Bryon Madara and his wife, Dianne of KY; two sisters, Linda Madara of Paxinos, and Gale Madara of Paxinos; two nieces, Tracy Koller and her husband, Jay, and Tiffany Karabin and her husband, Michael; two nephews, Mark D. Madara, and David I. Madara and his wife, Tammy, and Jarod Maurer; six great nieces, Skylar Pickett, Kyla Madara and her partner, Megan, Jocelyn Madara, Lexie Madara, Sophia Madara, and Alana Madara; two great nephews, Peighton Madara, and Leo Madara. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a very special nephew, Max Madara, as well as James “Jamie” B. Swank, and Michael D. Whitehaus; and a niece, Corin Madara.

Keith W. Madara, 68, of Paxinos – A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Gurba, officiating, at Saint Peters Blue Church, Paxinos.
