June N. (Snyder) Parsons

Mount Carmel – June N. Parsons, 95, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at Mount Carmel Senior Living.

Born in Danville on August 29, 1928 to the late Jerry and Lottie (Miller) Snyder. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church.

In 1950 at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church she married Charles Parsons, who preceded her in death in 2011. She worked as a teacher aide at Uniontown school, Tharptown, then went on to work at Market Street Bank, Shamokin.

June is survived by two sons, Richard Parsons and his wife, Sally of Paxinos, and William Parsons and his wife, Pam of KS; three grandsons, Chase Parsons of MA, Colin Parsons and his wife, Amber of Bear Gap, and Charlies Parsons of KS; three granddaughters, Lauren Parsons and her fiancé, Blake Nissen of OH, Christa Lamia and her husband, Tony of KS, and Sara McKinney and her husband, Jared of KS; five great grandsons, Weston Parsons, Jasper Lamia, Colt Lamia, Jackson McKinney, and Bodie McKinney; a great granddaughter, Katy Jo Parsons; a brother, Kenny Snyder; a sister, Roma Shankweiller and her husband, Wayne; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, June was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Maria (Eisenhart) Parsons; two brothers, Paul Snyder and his wife, Dot, and Larry Snyder; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Snyder.

June N. Parsons, 95, Mount Carmel Senior Living – Funeral services will be held in the Spring, at Elysburg Alliance Church, a second notice will be posted.
