Jean M. (Swift) Miller

Northumberland – Jean M. Miller, 93, of Nottingham Village, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Born in Sunbury on April 28, 1929 she was the daughter to the late Job and Rosetta (Jane) Swift. She graduated from Coal Township High School in 1947.

On June 6, 1948 in Clarks Grove United Methodist Church, she married John Miller, who preceded her in death. She worked as a secretary for Clarks Poultry. She was a member of Clarks Grove United Methodist Church.

Jean is survived by two sons, Randy Miller and his wife, Elyse of Reading, and Ronald Miller and his wife, Linda of TX; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Miller of Harrisburg; seven grandsons, Eric Miller, Jeff Miller and his wife, Jennifer, Clinton Miller and his wife, Lisa, Tim Miller and his wife, Amy, Danny Miller and his wife, Amy, Steve Miller and his wife, Elise, and Ross Miller and his wife, Paige; granddaughter, Bethany Miller; four great grandsons, Hayden Miller, Nathan Miller, Ben Miller, and Devin Miller; great granddaughter, Kayla Miller; sister, Shirley Klock of Harrisburg; four sisters-in-law, Lois Schartle of Reading, Sharlee Deibler and her husband, Gerry, of Reading, Maryanne Miller of Irish Valley, and Gail Miller of Irish Valley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was preceded in death by her father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Raymond and Rachel Miller; son, Scott Miller; three brothers-in-law, Ronald Schartle, Wayne Miller, and Harry “Buzz” Miller; and sister-in-law, Haroldeen Malick and her husband, Fred.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Jean M. Miller, 93, of Nottingham Village – Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Monica Romberger, officiating at Irish Valley-Summit Cemetery, Paxinos. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
