Paxinos – Janet A. Haddock, 85, of Mount Carmel Nursing Home, passed away Mondy, November 6, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Shamokin on July 10, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Harold and Kathryn (Conrad) Arbogast. She attended Shamokin and Coal Township Schools.

On May 30, 1970 in Shamokin, she married William Haddock, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. She worked as a seamstress at Arrow Garment Factory.

Janet is survived by a daughter, Pamela Rebuck and her husband, Barry of Paxinos; two sons, Jim Scandle and his wife, Carol of Shamokin, and Robert Scandle and his wife, Brenda of Shamokin; a daughter-in-law, Deneen Scandle of Shamokin; five grandsons, Brett Rebuck, Jarrod Scandle, Bobby Scandle, Josiah Scandle, and Jake Scandle; four granddaughters, Olivia Rebuck, Ashley Petrovich, Deana Bowman, and Jamilee Scandle; four sisters, Jean Huxta and her husband, Bernie, Diane Clouser and her husband, Carl, Kathy Andreatti, and Phoebe Arbogast; six brothers, Richard Arbogast and his companion, Anna George, Dennis Arbogast, Don Arbogast and his wife, Ann, Ken Arbogast and his wife, JoAnn, Jeff Arbogast and his wife, Elizabeth, and Ron Lupold; brother-in-law, Atwood “Skip” Lee Haddock of DE; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was preceded in death by a son, Gary Scandle; a grandson, Joshua Scandle; a granddaughter, Brea Scandle; two sisters, Betty Hile and her husband, Jerry, and Barb Lupold; and three brothers, Jack Arbogast, Bill Arbogast and his wife, Helen, and Leroy Arbogast (Infant).

FUNERAL NOTICE

Janet A. Haddock, of 4545 State Route 61, Paxinos – Graveside Service will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, PA, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
