James Paul Wehr

Coal Township – James Paul Wehr, 55, of 2208 Stetler Drive, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Shamokin, on January 1, 1964, he was the son of the late James H and Rita Ann (Kehler) Wehr. He graduated from Lourdes High School in 1983. James was a member of Mother Cabrini Church. He worked as a manager for J.W. Distributors, a restaurant paper product supply business, as the distributer of goods.  He loved classic muscle cars, Marvel superheroes, and loved classic rock music.

James is survived by three daughters, Tiffany Scicchitano of Shamokin, Jenna Wehr of Shamokin, and Ashley Derck and her husband Anthony of Coal Township; one son, James Rosenberger and his wife Morgan of Coal Township; five granddaughters, Sarah Bainbridge, Samantha Bainbridge, Emma Derck, Olivia Derck, and Sophie Derck; four grandsons, Dylan Bainbridge, Colton Rosenberger, Gage Anascavage, and Talon Maerkl; one brother, Michael R. Wehr, of Shamokin; one sister, Julie Ann Wehr of Milton; one nephew, Michael R. Wehr II; and one niece, Madyson Wehr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alba (Spager) Wehr and his parents.

James Paul Wehr, 55, of 2208 Stetler Drive, Coal Township – Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W. Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor, with Pastor Beverly Petrovich, officiating. Viewing will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 am in the Farrow-C.J.
