Francis "Monk" Ryan Robidoux

Coal Township – Francis Ryan  “Monk” Robidoux, 42, of 1435 W Independence Street, passed away July 13, 2021 at his home.

Born in Bristol on February 2, 1979, he was the son of Francis M. Robidoux and Nadine Duratz, who survive.

On November 3, 2018 in Coal Township, he married Catherine Robidoux, who survives. He worked as HVAC Technician for FCR Home Comfort.

Francis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his wife. He loved riding motorcycle, and hanging out with his friends from the motorcycle club. In the summer Francis could be found grilling or cooking his favorite foods. His nephew was fond of all the stories he would share with his uncle, and his niece always called him, “Uncle Monkey”.

Francis is survived by his wife, Catherine “Cat” Robidoux; two sons, Ethan Robidoux of VA, and Ryan Robidoux of VA; two daughters, Chelsea Robidoux of Levittown, and Cierra Robidoux of Levittown; a grandson;  Father, Francis Robidoux of Levittown; Mother, Nadine Duratz-Briggs and her husband, Mark of Rockwood; two sisters, Danielle Robidoux, and Carol Barkley; father and mother-in-law, Terry and Dawn Fegley; two brothers-in-law, Christian Hassinger, and John Paul Hassinger; a sister-in-law, Tara Kublic and her husband, Kevin; six nephews, Ryleigh Fegley, Zander Kublic, Prestyn Kublic, Gregor Morrissey, Logan Morrissey, and Matthew Barkley; two nieces, Tessa Fegley Kublic, and Cecilia Labate. Francis was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Duratz.

Francis Ryan Robidoux, 42, of 1435 W Independence Street, Coal Township – Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm at St. Francis Hall, Shamokin.
