Elizabeth B (Bert) Van Natta

Coal Township – Elizabeth “Betty” B. Van Natta, 97, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Mountain View a Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born in Huntingdon, PA, on November 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Clara (Burns) Bert.

She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School and attended secretarial school

She was married in the Episcopal Church in Hagerstown, MD, to the late Dr. Thomas M. Van Natta Jr. who preceded her in death in 1982.

She was a very active member of the Lewistown Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nedra (Van Natta) Templar and her husband Michael of Shamokin; two grandchildren, Thomas Templar and his wife Tiffany of Shamokin, and Celine Templar and her companion Dean Hollenbach of Sunbury, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Van Natta, 97 of Mountain View Manor – Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to attend a graveside service at Mount Rock Cemetery, 35 Oakland Avenue, Lewistown, PA on Friday, January 25, 2019, at 1:00 pm, with the Reverends Robert Zorn and Cindy Carlisle, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made to the Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 East Third Street, Lewistown, PA, 17044.  Farrow-C.J.
