Dolores (Fauland) Geist

Shamokin – Dolores (Fauland) Geist, 92, of 658 Bear Valley Ave, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Mountain View Manor, Coal Township.

Born in Coal Township on November 15, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Slowinski) Fauland. She attended Coal Township Schools.

On September 9, 1950 in Shamokin, she married Ronald William Geist Sr., who preceded her in death on April 4, 2018, together they shared 68 years of marriage. She attended Grace Chapel in Overlook.

Dolores is survived by two sons, Ronald Geist Jr of Shamokin, and John Frank Geist and his wife, Kathy of Hummelstown; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Easter (Green) Geist; a daughter, Sally Ann Beck; and a son, Jeffrey Allen Geist.
