Daniel E. Nahodil

Shamokin – Daniel E. Nahodil, 73, of 1113 N Pearl Street, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Born in Shamokin on November 6, 1948 he was the son of the late Donald and Jane (Koch) Nahodil. He attended Shamokin Area Schools. He served in the United States Army as a Sargent.

On February 16, 1966 he married Constance Segedy, who preceded him in death. He worked as a coal miner for Kocher Coal and other coal mines.

Daniel is survived by four sons, Ronald Nahodil of Shamokin, Richard Nahodil of FL, Donn Nahodil of Mount Carmel, and Daniel E. Nahodil Jr., of SC; a daughter, Lynn Daya; several grandchildren; and two sisters, Sherry Hubler of Coal Township, and Donna Cosgrove of Coal Township. In addition to his wife and parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald Adam Nahodil, who passed away serving in the United States Army; and a brother, Richard Nahodil.
