SHAMOKIN – Constance “Connie” E. Knorr, 78, of 235 S. 6th Street, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Shamokin on July 3, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Katherine Knauer. She graduated from Lourdes High School.
She was a lover of all animals, she watched many of her friends’ dogs. She loved flowers, doing puzzles books, and watching crime tv shows. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She worked as a housekeeper at Mountain View Manor. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Church.
Connie is survived by a son, Daniel Knorr of Shamokin; a daughter, Danielle Griffiths and her husband, Michael of Coal Township; two granddaughters, Kirstyn Griffiths of Coal Township, and Chyenne Jasinski of VA; a brother-in-law, Robert Welker of Mount Carmel; a niece, Cathy Ann Besser and her husband, David of Mount Carmel; and many cousins. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Welker; and a nephew, Robert Welker.

Constance “Connie” E. Knorr, 78, of 235 S. 6th Street, Shamokin – Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Church, 832 W Chestnut Street, Coal Township. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service at the Church. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
