Betty L (Long) Kleman

SHAMOKIN – Betty L. (Long) Kleman, 64, of 604 Hillside Ave., passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 in her home.

Born in West Cameron on July 18, 1958, she was the daughter of Ulysses J. and Roberta R. (Snyder) Long. She attended Shamokin Area Schools.

In June 1980 she married the late William James Kleman, Sr.

Betty is survived by her fiancé, John Nolan; mother, Roberta R. (Snyder) Long; a daughter, Susan Honicker and her husband, Chet of Excelsior; two grandsons, Chet Honicker III, and Kristopher Honicker; two brothers, Edward P. Long, Sr., and his wife, Nancy of Shamokin, and Michael Long and his wife, Mary of Excelsior; five sisters, Rose Rickert and her husband, Thomas of Excelsior, Kristine Moyer and her husband, Charles of Overlook, Brenda Myers and her husband, Paul of Excelsior, Angel Troup and her husband, Charles of Shamokin, an Melissa Schnee and her fiancé, Russ Dindorf of Coal Township; a step-son, Jamie Kleman and his wife, Wendy; two step-daughters, Sherry Duncheskie and her husband, Alan, and Sandy Kleman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her father, Ulysses J. Long; a step-son, William James Kleman Jr., and his companion, Cindy; and a step-daughter, Kelly Kleman.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Betty L. (Long) Kleman, 64, of 604 Hillside Ave., Shamokin – Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 5:00 pm with Pastor Robert Jones, officiating, at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
