Ashley E Nahodil

NEW JERSEY - Ashley E. Nahodil, 37 of Rutherford, NJ, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

Born in Ashland on July 14th, 1983, Ashley was a 2001 graduate of Shamokin Area High School where she excelled in the classroom and many sports.  She then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bloomsburg University in 2006 with degrees in elementary and special education.

Ashley is survived by her son, Andrew Jacob Leffler of Rutherford, NJ, who she adored and was proud of all his accomplishments.  In addition, she is survived by her mother, Avis (Fegley) Bowers of Shamokin; a sister, Marian (Nahodil) Ginck and her husband Jeff of Coal Township; a brother, Zack Bowers and his wife Amber of Shamokin; Ashley was also a loving and caring aunt to her many nephews and nieces, Stephen Smith, Peyten Smith, Madisen Smith, Hayden Smith, Carringten Smith, Collin Bowers, Cayden Bowers, Gabriel Leffler, Aaron Leffler and Lucy Leffler.  Ashley was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marian (Rook) Fegley with whom she shared a special bond.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Ashley E. Nahodil, 37, of Rutherford, NJ – Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.  Burial will follow the service at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury.  Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, April 28, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on April 29, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  To send condolences to the family please visit www.farrowfh.com
